Papertake Challenge
A second card tonight, & it's another LOTV this time using Basic Grey papers & the Papertake Challenge sketch.
Finally, I thought I'd show you our street's cupcake challenge enteries, to celebrate the Royal Wedding yesterday.
Stegasaurus
I've had a set of Digi Dino's from Digi Stamp Boutique for ages but never used them till today. So this fun kids card is made using one, coloured with Promarkers, then shaded over with my blender to give a more blotchy effect! Papers are Basic Grey.
My card is for;
Passion for Promarkers - Pre-historic (& thanks again for placing me in last weeks top 5)
Inspirational Card Sketches - Their sketch

Me And My Cat
SORRY FOR DARK PHOTO, BUT THE DETAIL GET'S LOST WITH THE FLASH ON!
I've found out the names of my LOTV stamps now, & in a sharp contrast to the last card I did with this image, I've gone from busy papers to white - & I'm liking the look! Image, as always coloured with Promarkers.
This idea was inspired by a Docraft & Blog buddy Coops, who has set this weeks Passion for Promarkers Challenge.
I've also got to confess, I bought sheets this week from Tesco, partly cause I needed them but sadly also for the ribbon on the tag - perfect for a challenge I thought, & low & behold, it is!
So challenges with this card;
Passion For Promarkers - White card, coloured image
MAWTT - Recycle - Ribbon form sheets.
I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes
Crafty Catz - Children's Card
Party Time Tuesday - Their brilliant sketch. Jx

Santa Baby...
Hurry down the chimney tonight...with all those pressies!
Well this is terribly un-seasonal. It's another great day here so I thought I'd get this posted before I head out into the garden.
It's a very quick & simple card cause the image & paper are so busy - I thought by adding loads of layers it would just clutter things up. So, challenges;
Bah Humbug - Christmas Stockings - tiny I know, but Santa has one!
CHCC - Christmas Song - Santa Baby. Jx

Wedding Acceptance
Well my acceptance card is all ready to be posted, but Wills & Kate need to hurry up with my invite, they're cutting it a bit fine now & for all they know I might have something else planned!
So, my card - normally when I do a wedding card, I personalise it with the date & couples names, so as this one isn't for a specific wedding, I made it an acceptance card instead.
I've used my very old (2002 Anita's stamp) & a new piece of ribbon as my something old something new, sorry no borrowed or blue this time & I'm entering the following challenges;
Sketch n Stash - Sketch + old stamp, new ribbon.
My Partner in Crafting Crime - image inspiration - Pink & Cream wedding flowers.
Crafty Cardmakers - Wedding Jx

Little Kitty
I really should look up the names of all my LOTV stamps shouldn't I? It's just that they jump into my basket that quickly, the name hasn't time to register!
This is one of the stamps my parents got me for my Birthday (thanks M&D),coloured as usual with promarkers, & this time I used Basic Grey, Lime Rickey papers.
I'm entering the following challenges with it;
Crafty Emma's Store - Her lovely stetch.
Crafty Catz - Furry Friends - HAD to be a cat obviously!
Fussy & Fancy - Card for a child. Jx
Fly Cup Time!
Another great LOTV stamp here - well it's another I love! This time I've gone for a purple/saffron colour scheme along with the aptly named Cupcakes paper - Hundreds & Thousands.
This card is made using the sketch in this weeks Allsorts Challenge . Jx
Terry, in her Chocolate Orange!
My sister has said how much she loves LOTV images & has asked me to make her a set, so here's my first of many!
I love this little girl dressing up, and today she's in a lovely bright orange. Now to tie in with the chocolatey theme over on MAWTT, I've gone for a Terry's chocolate orange! Dark chocolate mostly, with a dash of milk in the embossing and embelishments, finished off with a lovely wapping in bright orange!
The Sweet Stampin Challenge is also Chocolate this week so I'll also enter that one too.
I followed the Sketch over on Sketch Saturday & I'm also entering this into the The Stamp Man Challenge which is embossing. Hadn't heard of The Stamp Man until last week, but after my class with Kath I was desperate for Hero Arts Stamps - & they had all the ones I wanted, in stock. They also delivered really quickly so I was well impressed.
Finally, she's got to enter the LOTV Challenge hasn't she! Which was simply Happy Birthday. Jx
PS Sorry to anyone left craving chocolate after reading this post!!!!!

Holly
H is for Hot Spot over on this weeks ABC Christmas Challenge, but it's also H for Holly on my card. Can't decide if I like this one or not. I think the black circle should be thinner, but I used the consecutive sized nesties which I had & couldn't really justify buying another set! (Or could I!)
I also followed the Sketch Saturday layout so I'll enter that challenge too.
Stamp - Anita's

Tender Showers
Well I've just had a game of badminton with my 16 year old son - sadly I lost, but I took him to 5 sets so I'm quite pleased with that!
Now onto my card, it's made using the lovely Tender Showers PB stamp - the first one I ever bought in fact and I still love it.
I've combined it with Doodle bug papers, a ribbon & pearls & I've double stamped all the flowers and raised them off the original image to add dimension to my card.
I'm entering this one into;
PB Saturday Challenge - Say It With Flowers
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Truely Dimensional
Party Time Tuesday - April Showers
I Love Promarkers - Their great sketch.

Pogo Bunny
My boys used to love their pogo stick, so I just had to get this cute LOTV stamp. It's coloured with promarkers & my papers are Bearly Mine Design - although I think my ink is running a bit low so they're a bit paler than they should be! Finally, I put flock on Mr Bunny's tail and added a flower & sentiment.
This card is for this weeks LOTV challenge which was peach & green.
Top Tip Tuesday - Spring has Sprung - & so has the bunny!!!
Aly's Sunday Sketch - Bunnies
Crafty Catz - Embossing - My small daisy strip under the ribbon. Jx

Goth Girl
This is another great Sugar Nellie stamp called Goth Girl - great to colour...till you come to the hair! Anyway my trusty promarkers were to hand, & this was my best attempt at hair, (honestly I did a lot worse on some!)
Paper is another lovely download from Bearly Mine Designs.
Sugar Bowl Challenge - Sketch + purple & green.
Sketchy Colours - Torquoise, purple & green.
Fussy & Fancy - A card for a child.

Thank You
My final card for tonight is a Thank You one for the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge. I'm quite liking doing the CAS cards at the moment, so this was a quickie using my Inca Daisy Squares stamp and a computer generated sentiment. Jx
Coal Again - Poor Fluffles!
My aim of making 1 Christmas card a week throughout the year is slipping a bit, so I thought I best do a couple this week. Here's the first, and it's an old Fluffles Christmas stamp which I love. Can't tell you about the papers as they are cuttings from a 12x12 sheet which has long since been started. I can however tell you the challenges this one's for;
Lady Bug Crafts - Their lovely sketch
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Round in circles - I have included several.
Crafty Ann's Challenge - Raise a Smile - Well Fluffles does it for me!
My Partner in Crafting Crime - Layer it up. I have several, 8 in one part.

Kath's Class
Gosh, it's almost a week since I last posted on here so I have a few cards to mention and a few more to catch up on. (Production always falls during school holidays!)
So, my first post of the night is about the wonderful craft class I went to in the Papeterie yesterday, taken by Kath Stewart. What a great class it was, and how helpful Kath was in guiding us through matting - a technique new to me and several others in the class.
The other exciting bit about yesterday was that I finally met up with Ann my blog buddy from Annie's Place. After a slight hic-cup at the beginning of the day and her bus being late in, followed by me disappearing off into Hobby Craft, never to be found, we eventually met up & enjoyed each others company throughout the day. So much so that I think we will be repeating the exercise in the coming months.
So thanks Kath for a brilliant class, & thanks Ann for travelling north to meet up. Jx

Less Is More No 9
This weeks Less is More challenge is, a touch of red, so I coloured the flowers on this Inca daisy stamp red along with using red matting.
... & my great news of the day is that I'm now booked onto a Kath Stewart Hero Arts class this weekend and that my Do craft & blog buddy Ann is going to travel north for the class too, so we'll get to meet at long last - can't wait!!!

Squeaky Clean
I love this Penny Black stamp called Squeaky Clean. One morning I'm sure I'm going to get up to find a mouse - doing just this - cleaning itself in the cat's dish as Femo my cat does like having her friends round to play from time to time!
Anyway, this card is made for a number of challenges, including;
I Love To Stamp - Their sketch
Oldie But Goodie - Pink/Blue/Brown - stamp from 2000
Crafty Catz - April Showers/Include water (-how could CC not like a cat's dish card!)
I Love Promarkers - Embossing - used Cuttlebug circles on both horizontal strips.

This card is made using the current layout given on the Sketch & Stash challenge No 58. (12/4) The image is from a Woodware clear set & the papers are Bearly Mine Designs again. (I feel kinda bad not having bought any yet, but they have loads of lovely freebies to try first!) Jx

British Heart Foundation
During the month of February, (& a bit of March) I sold my cards will all proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation. I managed to raise £50 and today I got a letter back from the charity, thanking me for my support. Just thought I'd post it & say thank you to all those who bought my cards and helped me reach my total. Jx
