Boy Birthday

How's everyone today?  It's all sunny in our house today - both inside & out! The school holidays have now started, the sun is in the sky, and after a busy week, a relaxing weekend ahead looks like a good plan!

Ahead of that, a card post and an apology to my normal blog followers - sorry I haven't been visiting your blogs quite so often of late, but with a full household again and taking the boys here there and everywhere, blogging has been sidelined a bit!

Today's card was made for a neighbour and here it is;

Happy Father's Day

This is the only Teddy Bo image I have, but after seeing the lovely cards which Laurie makes with them, I thought I'd dig this fella out again and have a play.

Papers are from my LOTV Nitwits pad, colouring by Promarker and the scarf paper pieced.

Monochrome Teddy Bo Cat

I do so love this stamp & thought a monochrome look would suit too, so I gave him the Promarker treatment & combined him with some Basic Grey Paper and a tartan ribbon, & that's about it!

Teddy Bo Cat

Well this is my first time playing with a Teddy Bo image, but when I saw this one over on Sheila's blog, I knew it was one for me - isn't this guy cute!

So, I coloured him with Promarkers & combined him with some more of the papers I dug out from the back of the drawer, (Dovecraft), added in some ribbons & buttons & even a die cut off my new Cottage Cut doily. Finally a bit of distress inking of edges & I was done.
