Stamping Sensations - Anything Goes

Super excited today with lots of things to tell you all! First off, I'm guest designing for Stamping Sensations this month after winning their challenge back in June.  Really pleased to have been asked, and it was a nice easy one for me as their challenge this time is

Anything Goes

So my card for them was a thank you, made for hospital staff to thank them all for the great work they do.

It's a simple CAS card using a brilliant Simon Says Stamp thanks die and a couple of medical figures stamped from a Woodware cling set.

Colouring as ever is by Promarker.

Now, as I mentioned earlier, my GD spot came about after a Stamping Sensations win, but what I never mentioned was my great prize - a credit of £35 with Visible Image - and look at all the lovely goodies I got!

Haven't used them yet, but am delighted with my prize so HUGE thanks to Visible Image

Finally, my other news - as you read this I'm on holiday - currently in Rome hopefully enjoying the heat and the icecreams...will tell you all about it on my return, Jx

Just a quick post today as kitty sleeps! (Kittens seriously reduce craft time!)

Made this congratulations card for a nurse who recently got promoted.

Papers LOTV and the flower made using a Marianne die.

Challenges;
Sketch n Stash - Sketch 19 - lovely sketch, nothing too new on this, maybe the papers, stamp and die quite old now.
Paper Creator - Dies or Punches - used a flower die

Happy 18th Birthday

When I saw this Woodware stamp, I knew it would be a good one to have.  Boy's 18th birthday cards can be a bit troublesome, so I thought this stamp might make life a bit easier.

Simple card today, with the 18th paper pieced using Doodlebug paper.  The card is then finished off with candy and that's it!

Hope you all have a good weekend, it's turned chilly again here so there won't be any gardening.  I should go for a run, but it's just started to rain & my motivation is somewhat lacking... we'll see!

Challenges;
Totally Papercrafts - CAS
Cute Card Thursday - Something Blue
Little Miss Muffet - Pieced Off - Paper piecing
Lexi's Creations - Happy Birthday
There She Goes - Paper Piecing
Here Come The Boys - Paper Piecing
Paper Creator's Crafts - For The Boys

Work Thanks

A friend's daughter is finishing her nurse training placement this weekend & asked for a card. Typical, no requests, then 3 in the same week, & that week falling in the school hols!

Never fear though, the boys are revising, or shut in there rooms with their computers pretending to revise, so I can craft!

Well that's me got all orders up to date, so the card making factory will now be closed for a couple of weeks while we holiday in Berlin - YIPEE!

This card was made using craft creations gingham paper & I think the grey is Papermania. I used the Willow Sketch for this one & so will be entering their challenge with it.

The Crafty Pad - Bold & Bright.
Sentimental Sundays - Patriotic colours - Union Jack - Red/White/Blue
Stampin Sisters In Christ - Red/ White/ Blue Thank you

Craft Us Crazy - Red/ White/ Blue.

Poppy

I've had this Woodware stamp for a while now, but only got round to using it last night. The Poppy is coloured with Promarkers, (Antique Pink & Mango) and the papers are My Mind's Eye.

I'm entering the following challenges with it;

The Stamp Man - Poppies - Woodware Stamp
Sketch Saturday - Their Sketch - Loved it!
Oldie But A Goodie - Say It With Flowers - The poppy again!
Crafty Ann's - Happy Birthday
Ladybug Crafts Ink - Going Dotty - The two dotty papers.
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Finally, below, I thought I'd include a picture of the real deal! Taken in my garden this morning.

Aren't they stunning! For years I admired these in my parents garden, then my Mam gave me some plants so I now have lovely poppies of my own - Thanks Mam! Jx
