Daffodils

Like many, one of my favourite Spring flowers has to be the daffodil, so when I saw this lovely stamp over at Power Poppy I had to have it!  What I now need to do is sign up for a Kit and Clowder class and master colouring it better...so this can be the before!

As always colouring is by promarker, but this time I pencil shaded round the image, and I distress inked my edges to make the image and sentiment a bit more prominant.

It's been so long since I've made a card or posted one I have kinda forgotten the basics! So back to basics it was, a simple image and a short post!

So, Happy New Year to anyone reading this, my followers are few these days a bit like my cards and challenge entries.  I'd like to say things will improve this year, but who knows...only time will tell!

Today's image is a Power Poppy digi, and if there was a new company that would drive me back to card making it may well be this one as I could buy so much over there.  But rather than fill my basket, I've just picked up a couple of images, and my reward, should I use them will be a couple more!
