CAS

Boy's oh boys am I ahead of myself!  It's only Aug and here's me posting an October DT card.  No biggy now, but I bet come Oct I'll be well chuffed that this is done and dusted and I can concentrate on Christmas cards!

So, the new challenge at Diva's by Design is...

CAS

A favourite challenge theme of mine, which is probably why creativity has jumped ahead, when really I should be working on the current DT card!!!

So here's my effort,

... and there's no denying that it's not CAS! A computer generated sentiment, my new wave die from Die-namics a piece of ribbon & my Promarkers.  And obviously a fabulous image, by 2 Cute Ink, called Dolphin Cutie, available free to all here.

2 Cute Fish

These lovely little fish are from 2 Cute Ink, the image is called Stingray Kids and I won it back at the beginning of the year.  I've been dying to use it, and when I saw this weeks Sketch Saturday sketch, I just knew what I wanted to do!

The papers are both Craft Creations and the ribbons & dew drops are from my stash.

Knitty Kitty

There really are some great new digi stamp companies out there, and if like me you get stuck in your ways and keep going back to the same old, same old, then challenge wins can really open your eyes to what's out there!

A new company to me was 2 Cute Ink, and it was a challenge win at the end of last year that took me to their site.  Once there, I was really pleased I had stopped by, they have some lovely stamps and the image below really caught my eye.

I printed it twice, cut out the ball of wool then covered it with the real stuff then hand made the knitting needles from cocktail sticks and brads!

I'm really pleased with this one and have someone special in mind to send it too! Jx
