Today's card is a bit late in the making but hopefully it will now have been received. It's for my dear crafty friend Susan and her family who moved north at Christmas. Hopefully soon we'll be able to meet up and share some crafty time together. (x)
So. my card uses an image and papers are from one of Susan's favourites - Lili of The Valley. It's one of their digi stamps and shows a lovely country cottage. I've coloured it with my usual Promarkers, then added little wooden hearts.
Challenges;

Your Favourite Style - CAS
Today see's another new challenge begin over at Sweet Stampin, and Abi has chosen the theme this time. Today we are being asked to create using;
Now after thinking about this, I decided on CAS - I never seem to manage to pull off the mega embellished look without my card looking cluttered, so instead I prefer the other extreme! A good sentiment and a bold well coloured image &...that's it!
So here is my card for the occasion;
Sponsoring us this time are Stix2 who are giving away a goodie bag to our lucky winner,
and as well as this we have the monthly sponsor of Cuddly Buddly who offer the overall monthly winner a £10 voucher to use in store.
Challenges;
As You Like It - Favourite C&S design & why. One image one sentiment and a border - simple as! I love this style as I'm not really into cards with loads on them - mine look to busy when I try. Plus these cards are perfect to post and don't need a large stamp!
One Crazy Stamper - Anything Goes
The Paper Shelter - Winter Blue - got the blue, not sure about the Winter - but I guess people move house in winter too?
Top Tip Tuesday - CAS
Brown Sugar - Anything Goes
For more details & inspiration head back to the main Sweet Stampin page.
Finally, a tale of woe... Merlot Mogs is poorly!
He went for his "little boy" op on Thurs only things did not go to plan. His bits weren't both to be found so he needed a much bigger operation with his tummy opened up. Eventually things were located and removed and he's now home recovering poor love.

New Home
I thought a new home card was a good start back to blogging and card making after my month long break. Just made this card to send to Alan to welcome him in to his new flat and to wish him all the best as he starts 2nd year university.
Now this card hasn't quite turned out the way I wanted - funny how you see things straight away once they are stuck down! Anyway I like the idea of the card, now I just need to perfect how to make it less boring!
Below my card you will see pictures of his newly decorated flat. We are really pleased with the end result and clearly we caused a bit of interest with the neighbours as we worked solidly on the place for 3 weeks. One neighbour was so impressed he thought we were decorators by trade and asked if we could work on his new property!
The bath side is off in this picture as we discovered 2 leaks just before we finished. One from the overflow, which Craig re-fitted the other from the sealant round the bath edge - which I removed and reapplied - that was a reat job, NOT! Leaks all gone now though, Jx
