One For The Boys

Today's challenge over at Ooh La La is hosted by Michelle and she has chosen

One for the Boys
as the current theme.

So for me, I headed back to my Paula Oakley CD and chose this lovely farm scene for the focal point on my card.  Matching papers are also from the CD.

Looking at the image, I think it could well be painted this time of year. Clearly the image was not painted this year though as we have yet to see a blue sky!!! lol!

Challenges;
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes
Crafters Cafe - The great outdoors
Crafting by Designs - 3 or more layers
Creative Moments - Anything Goes

Hahaha… brilliant Janice… you made me laugh about the scene not being painted this year!!! yes indeed… where is the blue sky!!? we get glimpses of it here... but then it's back to dull, dull, dull. And wet!!
This is a wonderful image… I have book with some very old b & w photos of haymaking and ploughing in the meadows near us… very like this scene… so I like to imagine those idyllic days of long ago… Love the matching papers and gold brads.. this is perfect male card my friend! :-)
Hope you have a good week
Big hugs, Sue B xx

Fabulous card Janice - brilliant image :o)
Not much sign of blue skies down in this neck of the woods either :o(
Maybe we will have an Indian summer - fingers crossed September at least stays dry - in particular the 25th (Jamie and Rowena's wedding day)
Hope all is well with you and yours.

Such a classy image, reminds me of an old painting. An image fit for many occasions, timeless and gender neutral, it's all up to your choice of colors and sentiment.
