When I started this little hedgehog run, I didn't quite realise how many I had! Last weekend I coloured up a heap and this week you have been shown one daily!
Today it's back to Penny Black, this time in Shades of Autumn for this little male baseball fella. Sam, I think this is one of yours?
Anyway I think he's another cutie to add to my ever growing collection!
Challenges;
OLLCB - Use a bow
Sweet Stampin - Just for Men
We Do DooBadoo - Something masculine
Sentimental Sunday - Use kraft
Sketch n Stash - Sketch 44 - Challenge 148 using old image and papers - so old I don't know who's!
Merlot
Last night he got his second opinion so the Aberdeen vet suggests dentistry to fix Merlot's jaw, (he says its fractured.) Then 6 weeks post op with a frame to set his jaw in the correct position with assisted feeding but hopefully not tube.
Sadly however he said Merlot was now completely blind in his left eye and sight will never return :(
The difficult decision is whether on not to remove said eye? Jx

Another great hedgie Janice, love the ladybird on his cap!! Glad you have some definitive answers about Merlot. I have known horses that have had a blind eye removed Janice who coped perfectly well and continued to be ridden, equally the M-I-L's dog lost it's sight in an accident while beating on a shoot and retained the eye so I think it is a personal decision and one that the vet won't make for you xx
This is gorgeous Janice, such a cute image and wonderful papers.
Sorry to hear about Merlot losing the sight in his left eye. It must be difficult for you to make such a decision, it's a shame you can't just ask him what he wants, poor thing. I suppose if you are not sure then leave it for now then maybe it could be removed later?

Poor little Merlot - hope the surgery goes well on the jaw.
Love this hedgie image - not seen it before so it must be one of Sam's old finds. They are just so sweet - another dropped through my letterbox this week - along with a few other PB's :) Have a good weekend x Susan x

Aww! He's a cutie! xx
I was away a couple of days last week Janice, so just catching up on your hedgies and Merlot.
Bernie (son of our son's St Bernard) is now blind after a cornea transplant that worked for a while only. But it's amazing how well he copes and his tail still wags so he's a happy boy.
