Delgaty Rocks

Both my boys are in the academy house team Delgaty. Colin is in 4th year and in the middle of sitting his standard grade exams & Alan is in 6th year and after his exams will be leaving school. This term has been a busy one for them both, but especially Alan as he has started planning his next stage of life. There have been uni applications & job applications not to mention finding accommodation & applying for scholarships and as if that wasn't enough to keep him busy, he threw in wanting to learn to drive too! With all these applications flying off, he has relied heavily on his school house master Mr Martin for support, guidance & references, so we thought a personalised card would be a great idea to show our appreciation of Mr Martin & all he's done.

So that's the story behind the card!

The card itself is for the current Oldie But Goodie Challenge which I've set this time and it's theme is;

Die Cuts & Punches

As well as following the theme please also use something older than 6 months (The Oldie Bit) on your card & tell us what it is.

The prize this time around is from our fabulous sponsor Bugaboo, & they are offering the winner 7 digi's of their choice. What a great prize, & not only that, they also very kindly gave all the DT members a stamp too to play with, so generous, so thanks again guys.

I chose this brilliant Deacon stamp called, Deacon-School Sign It. He's coloured with Promarkers, in green, (house colours), then I used my MS border punch along with my nestie dies to comply with the challenge. Finally I used an oldie ribbon which I won in a lovely Ribbon Girl prize last year.

As for the image, it comes with a blank whiteboard, just waiting for your message. Colin taught me how to add a text box over the image, and da-da, your stamp is personalised!

Well that's what I did this time, but the other DT ladies have also had lots of Bugsaboo fun, so head on over to the main blog and see which stamps they picked & the fabulous cards they made.

Challenges;
Deep Ocean Challenge - Die Cuts & Punches
Creative Card Crew - Ribbon
Cards For Men - Texture - Ribbons, Emboss punching & layers + glaze on apples
The Craft Place - One for the boys - from my son to his teacher

Promarkers:
Hair - Camel/Cinnamon/Tan/Almond
Top - Grass/Lime/Leaf
Shoes - Warm Grey 1-5
Books - Cardinal/Ruby/Burgandy & Caramel/Cinnamon/Tan
