Angel Tilda

For the Friday Sketchers Challenge I used their layout, Angel Tilda and Anita's Classic Christmas, Black papers. Jx

Let It Snow!

Using my PB XMouse Ornament stamp I've made this card for this weeks ABC Christmas Challenge. Paper - Anita's Classic Christmas, blue. The challenge was V - vertical, using the vertical image, and any other "V" bits you had... Well I looked VERY hard, but drew a blank on the 2nd bit! Jx

A Chubby Little Snowman!

With 10 minutes to spare, I've just managed to link this card into the Crafty Catz Challenge this week which was nursery rhymes.

Now I actually take a pre-school nursery rhyme group at our local library, so I had plenty of rhymes to pull on. In the end however I chose, "A Chubby Little Snowman" one of the childrens favourites.

For those of you who don't know it, it goes like this...

"A Chubby Little Snowman"

A chubby little snowman, had a carrot nose.
Along came a rabbit, and what do you suppose?
That hungry little rabbit, looking for his lunch...
ATE the snowman's carrot nose... Nibble, Nibble, CRUNCH! (clap hands on crunch!)

As for my card, well it's Anita's Classic Christmas Papers, & a Magnolia Snoowie stamp.
I'm also entering this card into "My Partner in Crafting Crime", where the challenge was shine on you crazy diamond /diamonte(s) - mine are on the snowflake & on the dot of the "i" in Christmas. Jx

Bingo!

Allsorts this week had a great challenge where you had to pick a bingo line to instruct you on the key elements in your card. My line was; Ribbon, Tag & Punch, (corner punch on embossed heart strips).

As well as the Allsorts Challenge, this card will be entered into the Friday Sketchers Challenge as it follows their layout.

& Finally, the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge of anything goes - thanks Leanne for telling me about this one!

Stamp - Sugar Nellie, Mistletoe
Paper - Papermania - Creative Tones, Blue.

Snowball Fun

As soon as I saw this weeks Sketch Saturday layout, I fell in love with it, I knew exactly which stamp (Penny Black - Snowball Fun, made 2001),I'd use, then after a shopping trip I decided on my newest Dovecraft Jolly Happy Christmas papers.

As this is such an old stamp I can also use this card in the Oldie But A Goodie Challenge, which was, All Creatures Great & Small. Along with the Bah Humbug Challenge, which is Cuties.

Isn't She Lovely

The Allsorts Challenge this week is to make a card inspired by a song. I chose the Stevie Wonder song, "Isn't She Lovely" for this baby card using my Magenta stamp. Jx

Cat-Ching Some Rays

Well I think I was last to upload to last weeks Crafty Creations Challenge, but I've got to be one of the first this week.

Made using the challenge layout from last week, cause I liked it so much, I have used my High Hopes stamp along with some Basic Grey paper.

The card is for Alan, my son, who turns 16 two days after returning from his charity trip to Mombasa with Books Abroad.

As it's for my son, I didn't think he'd want a huge heart on it from us so I put on this tiddly little brad, just so I could enter it into the Bunny Zoe Crafts Challenge too, which was Autumn Love. Jx

Christmas Tilda

The schools are on holiday up here at the moment, so card making has had to take a back seat. That said, I couldn't believe I'd almost missed the close this week for the Crafty Creations challenge & their lovely sketch. So in a race to the end, I started the card last night & finished it off this morning. Mr Linky accepted it so hopefully it's in on time! As it's holiday time, I've rolled a few challenges together with this one, & am also entering;
The Crafty Catz Challenge with it, the challenge was Tilda.
Papertake Challenge - 3 of a kind - I chose holly leaves & berries.
& finally, Snoflakes Christmas Challenge on Do Crafts. Jx

Think Pink

This was a really quick card I made last night for my youngest son for a school friend who is in hospital just now. As it's in pink, I can enter it into this weeks I Love Promarkers Challenge. The card had to be quick, as I was also doing the packing for my other son (16) who heads to London today for the start of his 2 week trip to Mombasa with the charity Books Abroad. A trip of a lifetime Alan, so have fun & take lots of photos!

Jx

PS Sorry for the double challenge entry, but the first photo was so bad I re-did it, then lost the link, then ended up with 2 posts! Karen knows, but neither of us know how to delete the first link!

I've followed the Sketch Saturday Challenge layout. Jx

Colours of Autumn

The Penny Black @ Allsorts Challenge this month is Colours of Autumn, so in a change to what I normally do with this stamp, I've gone brown instead of bright!

So it's PB Light the Night stamp, and a paper pieced dress - don't know who did that paper, possibly Dovecraft, but the other dotty one is my mind's eye.

Snowflake Mouse

This was my most used Christmas stamp last year so I haven't used it that much this however I have just recieved an order for 10 cards using it, so I'm thinking you are going to see quite a lot of it in the coming weeks!

This time I've co-ordinated it with Anita's papers & snowflake embossed card to make my Friday Sketchers Challenge card. Jx

Love Birds

I've had this Digistamp Boutique for quite a while now, but never found the need to use it, till now! Some friends of ours who keep parrots and other exotic birds have just got engaged, so the image was perfect for them. I've used the Papertake Challenge layout for the card, along with Basic Grey papers.
As I've used a Digistamp Boutique image I'm also able to enter my card into the Digistamp Boutique Monthly Challenge.

Christmas Tree

This quick & simple card has been made for the challenge over on My Partner in Crafting Crime. It uses an Anita's transparent stamp and spare ribbon from last year.

I'm also entering a new challenge this time, it's Lothian Crafts Online. I found them last month when they posted about some lovely candy they were giving away. I signed up as a follower, & their latest challenge theme is Christmas.

Chloe's 16th Birthday

Chloe will be 16 on Wed, and she has a grey pony called Sebastian, so what better a card? Have used the Lili Of The Valley layout for this weeks challenge along with My Mind's Eye papers.

Happy Birthday Chloe, Jx
