This quick card was made for my sister who needed a male card urgently! The PB image is Feeding Frenzy & is coloured with Promarkers. The paper is Papermania - Colossal, & the punch is EK Success. (Thanks Sam for that punch paw idea - forgot I had that single punch!)

Cupcake

The sketch over on Sketch & Stash this week tied in perfectly with this large Hero Arts Cupcake stamp so I had to put the two of them together! I also did a bit of paper piecing on my paper case to link with the I Love Promarkers Challenge.

Papers - Cream - K & Co; Green - My Minds Eye. Colouring done with Promarkers. Jx

Caught A Bug?

The Papertake Challenge this week is, "Putting On The Glitz" Now it may not be that obvious, but there is a tiny bit of sparkle on my bug wings!

The image used is from Digi Stamp Boutique & the papers are Basic Grey. Jx

Up The Dons!

A card for an Aberdeen supporter. Made using my Sugar Nellie stamp and an Inca football image. Mounted on a Happy Birthday embossed panel & finished with silver card candy.

Snow Globe

I saw this digi image from S'j Little Musings last year & knew instantly it was one for my collection. It's called Sno'wonder and if you scroll down on the page I've linked you'll find it there. Never got round to using it though so was keen to put it to use for this weeks ABC Christmas Challenge which was D for double.

So it was double design paper from Craft Creations - Blue Stripes on Ice Blue & Snowmen on Ice Blue; double buttons; double ribbons - a white one then a blue on top.
Double stamps - image & sentiment; & double circles.

The image is glazed for a more realistic globe effect. Jx

Penny's Leaving!

One of my best friends at work is leaving tomorrow, so I'm going to be quite sad - I think she will be too. Anyway, to cheer us both up, I've made her this card, & I will accompany it with one of my hand knitted frilly can-can scarfs. I'd show you a photo of it too, but I can't decide which colour to give her!

Anyway, back onto the card. It's made using a very sweet PB image called Gifts For You. I've done some distressing of the edges & added a button, lace & ribbon & used a Pebblesinc paper called Girls Only Mini Flowers.

So my card will enter the following challenges;

Sunday Sketch & Stamp - Their lovely sketch.
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Pretty in Pink.
Penny Black @ Allsorts - Say It With Flowers

Wedding Day Card

When ever I'm struggling for card inspiration I go in search of a sketch. Today, I found a lovely one over at The Pixie Cottage where their current challenge was to use the sketch provided and possibly do some embossing too... Right up my street this one!

So using the sketch, a Sugar Nellie Image & my Dotty Doodlebug paper I set to work on a wedding card for a friend at work. Jx

What A Muppet!

I made a few Valentines cards for friends at work this week, & had this image already coloured & ready to go for a few of my regular challenges...but "daaw" they changed today, so I need to pay more attention to change days!

Anyway, after scouting around, I found a lovely sketch on Gem Of A Challenge, so I used it, & I'm also on time for the Papertake Challenge which was "Take a Heart" - mine are on the image & embossing, &

Oldie But Goodie - Add a heart - again on image & embossing.

Chef Hamish

I saw this 2008 Sugar Nellie stamp a few weeks back on a blog challenge, & knew then it was one I wanted - trouble was Funky Kits were sold out! As luck would have it thought, there was a Sugar Nellie stand at Simply Create in Alford - & better still they had him in stock! Needless to say Hamish headed home with me and is now in active service!

So my card is entering into;

This weeks Sugar Bowl Challenge - A great sketch by the way.
Crafty Catz - Use Tartan - My Doodlebug paper is a tartan print, (I'd say!)
I Love Promarkers Challenge - (Certainly do!) Birthday Card - coloured you guessed it - with promarkers, AND I used darker skin shades after Debbi taught me how at her brilliant class last weekend. Jx

Hugs & Kisses...

...& Valentine Wishes! That's what the PB stamp says.

Using my cuttlebug embossing folder & Spellbinder Hearts dies, I've created this simple card for the following challenges;

My Partner in Crafting Crime - Love - minus red & pink.
Crafty Cardmakers - Hearts

Promarker Poinsettia

I'm a great fan of the clean and simple card, so when I say the Sunday layout on the Card Positioning Systems blog, I knew it was one for me.

So, the simplest of cards here using my fantastic image from Prairy Fairy Designs. Jx

Cat's Card

This card is for Catriona - although she doesn't know it yet! It's made using that Gorjuss Girl stamp again along with some Doodlebug paper & a recycled CD off the front of a computer mag - hope nobody wanted it!!!

Anyway this card is for 3 challenges, it follows the sketch in Friday Sketchers and it also reuses the CD, & recycling was the challenge this week at Allsorts & finally it's certainly girlie which is the challenge over on Top Tip Tuesday. Jx

British Heart Foundation

I've just come over from my friend Ann's lovely blog, & read her post about her husband Jim who died 20 years ago of a heart attack at the very young age of 44. Ann has posted candy in his memory which I thought was a lovely thing to do and has asked us all to think about a contribution to the charity BHF if we pass a shop or collection can. To this end, I am going to donate all the money I raise in card sales, throughout the month of February to this charity. Thanks Ann for making me stop & think about what's really important. Jx

Gorgeous Girl

Sorry if this pic is a bit dark, but you loose all my embossing detail with the flash on. This card was made using the layout for this weeks Sugar Bowl Challenge.
It's also Red, which is the colour of choice in the Moving Along With The Times challenge. It also takes inspiration from the Simply Create board which amongst other things also featured, love & red.

& Finally the red & rose connection ties in nicely with the inspirational challenge over on Crafty Creations set on the Burns poem, My Love Is Like A Red, Red Rose. Jx

Spring At Last

Well the daffodils may not be in flower in the garden yet - or the snowdrops for that matter, but I think we can now say we are in Spring now as I can see tiny green shoots from loads of my bulbs. With that in mind, I've made a Spring card for a few of the challenges this week. My stamp is a PB called "seeing your face..." & the paper is K&Co and My Minds Eye - I think! So I'm entering this into the following challenges;

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Followed Their Sketch.
Penny Black @ Allsorts February Challenge - Say It With Flowers
Moving Along With The Times - Spring
Bah Humbug - Oldie But Goodie - But is this a Christmas Challenge - if so sorry - me thinks it is! Woops!!!
I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes + Flowers
Crafty Catz Challenge - Flowers
