I had to buy this stamp - the hedgehog is called Colin - & so's my son! I remember when I first read him the book Q Pootle 5 about an alien landing on earth, the alien met a cat called Colin & my Colin thought this was just brilliant!
Anyway, the card...
I've made it using a lovely digi stamp I bought from Willow Sketchie Designs - especially for this challenge. You don't have to use a Willow Sketchie image for their challenge, but it's a great Promarker prize this week so I thought I'd pull out all the stops & buy a stamp. (Actually, I love the finished image so will be back to buy some more stamps soon!) So, colouring done with my favourite Promarkers & papers, My Mind'e Eye. The steam binding is from Ribbon Girl & the hearts from the Pine Company.
Challenges;
Willow Sketchie Challenge - Their sketch
The Ribbon Girl - Brown & Green - Can you enter this challenge more than once? Couldn't see a limit, but if it's only one entry, please let me know.

Fluffles Leap
Stampendous Fluffles was the first set of stamps that I really fell in love with. I can remember sitting up till 1 in the morning to bid for a set in America on Ebay! I won the bid and I think this was one of the stamps in that set.
I think it's a great Autumn stamp with all those leaves, & perfect for a number of challenges running this week, including;
Simon Say's Stamp - Die cuts or punches - I went with my MS punch and my leaf border
Sketch & Stash - I used sketch 7
Raise The Bar - "Leave" Summer - Think I qualify for that!
Papertake - Creature Comforts - Fluffles the cat
Craft Us Crazy - Goodbye to Summer...Autumn it is! Jx

Maggie In Heart Jumper
Well this is an old stamp! Nothing sassy about Maggie, but she has a certain charm just like Hamish, and they're all great Sugar Nellie stamps. I've dug Maggie out, for my 3rd entry into this fortnight's Sugar bowl challenge, following their lovely sketch.
The papers used are My Mind's Eye, and the colouring done with Promarkers, then the lovely ribbon & buttons were part of a great prize I won from The Ribbon Girl when they sponsored the PBSC. Thanks ever so Mary & Andrea, your items are gorgeous & I'll definitely be paying you a visit for more crafty bits soon. Jx
PS I the process of linking this post to Ribbon Girl, I've now discovered they too run blog challenges, & as luck would have it, my card fits the current challenge theme of green & brown, so guess what ladies? I'm entering the Ribbon Girl Challenge!

Cat's Choir
Since Monday, both our cars have been in the garage for repairs. Mine was a simple exhaust re-fit, should have been back the same day, but the wrong part was ordered, then there were supply problems, but fingers crossed, 3 days later...mine should be back repaired tea time tonight. Sadly the same cannot be said about Craig's car, one expensive part has now become two and we are looking at a repair in the region of £2500 and no car till next week!
So, house bound again & fed up cleaning & ironing have turned again to cards!
This one uses a new Lindsay Mason stamp & brown paper - & a free paw stamp from Andrex!
I'm entering it into;
Craft Us Crazy - Autumn Colours & Favourite embellishments - mine is that woven ribbon stuff I got in Germany. Jx

Any One For Tennis
Well this summer has been the summer of tennis for my son Alan & I. For some reason, tennis has been his sport of choice and he's been playing regularly against me and some of his friends. Sadly however as the summer has progressed, his serve has improved vastly, whilst my game hasn't really altered... my winning streak has come to an end!
This card is for him for the end of next month, when he celebrates his 17th birthday.
Challenges;
Crafty Cardmakers - Summer Holiday Memories;
Meljens Designs - All things sporty.

Wedded Bliss
Tonight's card is made for a friend, who's niece is getting married in November.
The card had to include snowflakes & a black & white tartan ribbon to meet my friends spec! So it meets that one, and it also meets the Papertake Challenge spec of Dies to Die For. I had to enter this challenge using my snowflake dies, cause a few months ago, I was lucky enough to win the Papertake challenge when Dies to Die For sponsored it, and these were the dies I picked as my prize. Thanks Tracy. As well as snowflakes, the hearts & flowers are also die cuts & I used my nesties for the circles.
Later I made a box for the card too - here it is; Jx

Snow Joy
This cute little fella is a PB hedgehog called Snowy Joy, & after having fun last week with my all white skiing hedgehog I thought I'd try a similar card with this snowballing hedgie.
I'm not sure if this has photographed too well, but the idea is the embossed snow scene is the backdrop to my snowy peak, which hedgie has just rolled off! As there isn't much colour in this one I've added Stickles to the edges for that frosty feel.
Challenges:
Passion For Promarkers - No papers, colouring done with Promarkers.
Crafty Ann's - It Will Be All White On The Night.
Wags n Whiskers - Outdoors Fun
CHCC - Build it Up.
Designed2Delight - Christmas For A Child
Sweet Stamps - White on White Jx

Her Name Was Lola
I'm showing my age now, but I did like this song by Barry Manilow, and it introduces my new Victoria Case stamp, also called Lola very nicely!
So she's coloured with Promarkers & the papers are Doodlebug. Combined with that I've added some lace & card candi.
This card follows the layout in this weeks Simon Say's Stamp Challenge. Jx

Yummy Cupcakes
You'd think I'd got nothing better to do than make cards today! I did manage a spot of gardening this afternoon...but now, another card! Actually I think I'm catching up for all the cards I didn't make this past week and a bit as I've had a yukky cold which went into sinusitis. Better now though, YIPEE!
So, back to the card. It uses a Hero Arts cling stamp and some Dovecraft paper.
It's for the following challenges;

Christmas Lights
When I saw this weeks Winter Wonderland challenge of Light It Up and a card requiring Christmas lights, I thought of one set of stamps - it just had to be Fluffles the cat. I have two Christmas stamps with Fluffles & lights, here's the first as you can only enter one card, but as I couldn't decide which stamp to use, there will be a second added!
The image is stickled & the lights coloured & glazed, gems have been added, and more Christmas branches cut with my Nellie die. Can't tell you of the papers origin though, a very old single sheet is all I know! Jx
PS Here is card 2...think I prefer it to the one I entered but never mind! I'm entering it into the CHCC this week. It's not one layer but I think is would count as CAS.

Be One Traveller
Well I've just managed to make today's card before anyone else is up. The cats have been and gone, & one of them has brought me in a little present - how kind!
This card uses another of my favourite Sugar Nellie stamps. She's coloured with Promarkers and set on Doodlebug papers. Now the lovely white ribbon was bought on our recent holiday in Germany, (along with a fet other crafty bits) & the flower is made using my Marianne Dies.
This one is for the following challenges;

Relaxing Doggie
I wish I'd had my camera this morning - it wasn't relaxing dog, more like relaxing cat. Tommy our white moggy was catching some rays on the tarmac blissfully enjoying the heat, stretched out all his length with not a care in the world. A bit like this PB dog really.
So, this simple card uses 2 PB stamps, some brown wrapping paper, and a paw stamp free from Andrex! I'm entering it into the following challenges;

Sporty
Today has been a crafty day...can you tell? It's rained pretty much all day, so I thought I'd spend the day catching up on challenges. This is my 3rd card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge, quite different from the other two and made for a friend who wanted a green football card for a Celtic supporter. Jx
Good Old Hamish
Just because there are so many good new Sugar Nellie stamps, doesn't mean we should forget the old! Here's Hamish, same sketch for the Sugar Bowl Challenge, but with Basic Grey papers & a tartan ribbon. Jx
Strike A Pose
The latest release of Simply Sassy stamps by Sugar Nellie had some great images. One of my favourites was this one, Strike a Pose.

Corryhabbie Hill
At The Start
Yesterday we climed Corryhabbie Hill in the Cairngorms. A hill of 781m. Today my blistered feet ache, but we had a lovely day yesterday & it was great to be enjoying the Scottish scenery right on our doorstep. It was lovely weather from start to finish making visibility brilliant at the summit. Thanks to my brother John for taking us on our great day's climbing.
