So it's another graduation card today - this time for one of Alan's closest friends who is from Ghana - so I thought I'd use a tartan ribbon to remind him of his time is Scotland!

Cone-gratulations
I'm so happy! I've had major computer problems these past few days, huge red internet warning messages and no access to my blog from the PC. Colin however has just fixed it - a little battery problem which feeds the clock. Something I never even knew existed. Anyway, battery changed, clock working and internet back! Yip-ee!
Now onto today's card wich actually is for a Colin, who passed all his SQA exams yesterday and has now secured a place at Robert Gordon's University. We are all so happy for him, well done Colin, all that hard work paid off.
Now, as some of you may know, Colin's summer job is at Mackie's Ice-Cream and so, when I saw this image, I knew it would be perfect for him.
So his CAS card uses a House Mouse image, kraft and Promarkers for colour. The personalised sentiment was computer generated, love the cone-gratulations! (That was Craig's idea!)
Challenges;
House Mouse - relax and enjoy life - hopefully he will now he has his results, and enough ice-cream to feed a small nation!
Crafty Sentiments - Add a sentiment - made to link with the image!
Fan-tastic Tuesday - Anything Goes
Papertake - Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday - Something sweet - ice-cream
Craft Your Passion - Sweet Treats...ice-cream
Penny Black & More - Anything Goes
Allsorts - Favourite things - House Mouse & Ice-cream & CAS...& passing exams!
Gruffies & Guests - For the boys - my son!

Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen
I don't have that many House Mouse stamps, not because I don't like them though as the ones I do have are lovely, and a lot of them bought with specific people in mind.
The stamp I have used today is case in point, I saw the image and immediately thought of Colin. Granted I have had the stamp for about a year and never used it, but I knew, it's day would come...and today is that day!
The stamp is called Computer Tutors - not that Colin would ever need one of those - he is defo the tutor in this house and I think that would be him standing on the jug, not believing how thick I can be when it comes to all things computers. Many is the time he's said, "Mam, you can do this already, I showed you last time." To which I reply, "Show me again" and so he does it for me, again!
Anyway he will be 16 mid-feb so this card is for him. Colouring by Promarker & the papers are Lilybee Design, Memorandum.
Challenges;
House Mouse - Anything goes with a special cut - number dies & my current favourite, the fish-tail banners
Sunday Sketch & Stamp - A brilliant sketch, just made for this stamp
Passion For Promarkers - Boys & Their Toys - Colin's favourite - his computer
The Crazy Challenge - Birthdays
Crafting When We Can - Cards for Boys
Allsorts - Let's Get Cute

Anything Goes @ Oldie But A Goodie
Well this certainly is an Oldie - it's a 1990 House Mouse called Eatin & Sleepin in a Sunflower - & I love it! It's also a much more appropriate stamp to be using than the snowman in the last post! Hasn't the weather this past week been FANTASTIC! We're back to cool grey now, which I have to add is also fantastic, but the heat was good for a short burst.
Today's card is for the current Oldie But A Goodie Challenge which is set as
So there's no excuse not to enter this time! The prize for our lucky winner will be this lovely set of embellishments and super stamp.
When entering, remember you can use both digi & rubber stamps, but you must use something older than 6 months on your card & tell us what it is. In my case it's the stamp!
So, my card uses my HM stamp, coloured with Promarkers, Doodlebug paper & Wild Orchid flowers and the ribbon is from Ribbon Girl.
Hope you'll check out the other DT's great works on the main blog, before joining us this time around at An Oldie But A Goodie, Jx
Challenges;
A Gem of A Challenge - Photo Inspiration
Crafts & Me - Flowers
Allsorts - Birthday for Someone Special
Bunny Zoe Crafts - Anything Goes
Get Hippity With Ippity - Flowers With Leaf
Promarkers;
Flower, Mustard, Pastel Yellow, Buttercup & Canary

In The Garden
Well the school holidays are now behind us and as my boys were revising for the forthcoming exams, I disappeared off upstairs to craft!
This particular card is for the next Oldie But A Goodie challenge, set by Tracy. She choose
as her theme, & we're lucky enough to be sponsored by Robyn's Fetish this time, & they are offering the lucky winner 5 digi's of their choice.
For my card, I chose the House Mouse stamp "Give Peas A Chance". Although it's the first time I've used it, it's an Oldie dated 2010, as are the MME papers which I got a year or so ago.
Also on my card are some lovely ribbon & buttons, won in a Ribbon Girl prize last year along with a punched border which came from Dies To Die For in my recent order. The question is though - is it made from a die or punch - and which one so I can order it...If anyone can tell me, I'd be most grateful!
SORTED! - Tracy from Dies to Die For has been back in touch & told me it's an MS punch...which surprisingly has just been ordered!!!
For more inspiration, go over to the OBAG blog to see the other DT fabulous cards.
Challenges;
A Gem Of A Challenge - Their sketch, but flipped

Good Luck Mr C
My sis phoned me last week to say her daughter's much loved primary teacher was leaving to take up a promotion at a new school and that a card would be needed before the end of term.
So, this little house mouse came to the rescue! Coloured with Promarkers and on lovely Paper Company papers, I'm entering this card into the following challenges;
A Passion For Promarkers - Their brilliant sketch - loved it!
House Mouse - Warm & Fuzzy - Warm colours Jx

Smarty Pants
Quick post as I had to make the House Mouse 100th Challenge, which was to include Buttons, Bows & Bling (On the ribbon... a little glimmer there!) Made the card using the Sketch Saturday layout. More details in a bit...just got back yesterday.
Right, I should have made tea by now but my body clock is all to pot with travelling back home last night, so a take away later now seems like a good idea.
This card is made using my newest House Mouse stamp, bought last week to make a card for my son who gets his SQA Highers results this Thurs.
My card uses lovely reversable paper from The Paper Company - it's called Homerule Alphabet. I've also managed to stick on some lovely...hmm what's that neutral coloured stuff called under the ribbon? Never seen it in the UK, but I found it in Germany - so bought a little(LOT!)
It's also for, A Passion For Promarkers Challenge - Animal Crackers
Charisma Cards - 4 Legged Friends...of my cat's!

Eatin & Sleepin in a Sunflower
I never realised this House Mouse stamp is dated 1990 - over 20 years old! Not that I've had it that long or in fact been card making anything like that time. It's one of those stamps I bought early on cause I liked the image, then I thought it was too big so shyed away from using it. It was however perfect for the sketch over at Pixie Cottage this week along with a number of other challenges. Backing paper - Basic Grey. Colouring - Promarkers, & I don't know if you can see, but the top mouse is double stamped and layered, & the image edge inked with distress ink.
Pixie Cottage Challenge - Sketch
Papertake Challenge - Floral - the sunflower
I Love Promarkers - Animals - the 2 mice
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Sweet Stampin Challenge - In The Garden - My flowers.
House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge - May Flowers. Jx
