A Special Birthday For A Special Friend

A few weeks back it was Deb's 50th birthday, & so I made her a card and sent her my best wishes along with it.  Clearly I couldn't blog my card at the time, but I can now & here it is!

The paper is Andrea Jayne, Hot Diggity Dog again and the stamp, Funstamps, Painted Lady on Musk Mallow.  The butterfly is Pippa by Memory Box & the border, MS Doily.  All colouring done by Promarkers.

Summer Sun?

That's the question isn't it! Where has it gone? It was ok first thing this morning, I even managed a run before 9 and stayed dry, but since then, the heavens have opened and it's been chucking it down.

On a summer note however I made this card, and hopefully before the season is out, we'll have a few more warm days - fingers crossed.

Another card request, so before you ask Laurie, yes, the boys are studying again!

This time I used that lovely Funstamp "Painted Lady on Musk Mallow". Again all colouring was done by Promarker, then everything else is white to tie in with a number of WoW challenges this week.

Painted Lady On Musk Mallow

- the title of the post is the stamp name - not even I could think up one like that!

Not very keen on the stamp name, but I so love the stamp. It's one out of my mega Christmas box that Craig bought for me after following up an add in the local paper for someone selling their card making stuff.

I'm really pleased with this card, the colours work really well together & the image is beautiful. I've coloured it with Promarkers, double stamped the butterfly & decorated the card with stamped flowers & card candi. Papers are by Andrea Jayne.

Dark Duck!

This is the first time I've done this little duckie in darker shades, but I think it works quite well? Anyway I've followed the layout in this weeks Papertake Challenge & used my Funstamps - Puddle Duck stamp & Basic Grey, Lime Rickey papers. Jx
