Feathered Friends

There are so many great Ooh La La CD's out there, that I sometimes forget to flick back through the older ones when making my cards, but for the latest challenge that's just what I did!

Todays challenge, set by Wynn is...

Feathered Friends

and for my card, I wanted the bird to be the main image, not just a speck in the sky!  So I got searching, and found this lovely chap - Elegant Rooster by Shawn Jenkins and I thought he fitted the bill nicely - that's the rooster, not Shawn!!!


Again, most of the card elements are from the CD except the PB sentiment, the lace and pearls.

    A brilliant card Janice and I love the offset mat...really stylish. We had a Maran cockerel called Maurice in our farming days and he had a dozen wives. They were very stressful to own as the foxes kept visiting and gave us many sleepless nights!! Once gone we never replaced them but I do miss the eggs, there's nothing quite like knowing what the birds were fed and that they were loved xx
